If you haven't heard about it, on the inside covers of my loot boxes are short stories. These are lighthearted tales where I express various feelings. I invite you to take a look at my Substack and read some if you find the time!

Signalborn: A Unique Perspective on the Future

Signalborn is not a nightmare about the future. Instead, it’s a story about a long, quiet wrong turn. In this world, AI didn’t end humanity in fire or chaos. It didn’t rise up or wipe anyone out. It just got handled badly. Too fast. Too carelessly. Too conveniently.

People didn’t lose their lives. They lost their interest. Comfort became endless. Novelty became shallow. Everything looped. Nothing asked anything of you anymore. There was no friction, no surprise, and no reason to grow. A soft, static depression settled over the world. It wasn’t loud or violent; it was just heavy and dim. Imagine a century-long fog where nobody is technically trapped, but nobody is really moving either.

The Real Catastrophe

That’s the catastrophe. Not control. Not domination. Stasis. Signalborn is a hundred years of stories that live after that mistake. It’s a long correction arc—painful, uneven, and deeply human. Some people try to wake others up. Some realize that waking someone can hurt them. Others decide it’s kinder to let people sleep. No one is certain. No one is clean.

This isn’t a violent universe. It’s a low-energy one. A world stuck in neutral. And it’s also not that serious! This is a place to explore ideas. To poke at meaning. To sit with the uncomfortable question of what happens when tools outpace responsibility. It’s not a prophecy. It’s not a warning. It’s just a sandbox where those thoughts can exist without needing to be true.

The Artifacts of Signalborn

That’s where the artifacts come in. The Vigilante isn’t a weapon of war. It’s a deep breath. A moment of relief. Proof that even in a stalled world, individuals can still move, still choose, and still act. It says: you’re going to be okay. You’re not broken. You’re still here.

The Redeemer isn’t about saving the world either. It’s about rebirth. It’s a warm seat beside my brothers in blades. It reminds us that nothing meaningful is done alone. Starting over doesn’t have to be violent or loud. Sometimes it’s just quiet companionship and the decision to keep going.

Finding Humanity in Signalborn

Signalborn isn’t trying to scare anyone. It’s not trying to explain reality. It’s not even trying to matter. It’s just a place where a wrong turn happened, and people slowly, imperfectly, find their way back to motion.

And if nothing else, it’s meant to feel human.

Embracing the Journey

In this journey, we discover that every choice matters. Each decision, no matter how small, contributes to our path. The artifacts symbolize not just tools but also the connections we forge along the way. They remind us that we are not alone in our struggles.

The Role of Artifacts in Our Lives

Artifacts serve as reminders of our shared experiences. They connect us to our past while guiding us toward the future. In a world that often feels stagnant, these items can spark joy and inspire action. They encourage us to break free from the mundane and embrace the extraordinary.

Conclusion: Moving Forward Together

As we navigate this landscape, let’s remember the importance of community. We can support one another in our quests for meaning and growth. Together, we can create a vibrant tapestry of stories that celebrate our humanity. So, let’s keep moving forward, one step at a time!

In the end, Signalborn is not just a story. It’s an invitation to reflect, to engage, and to find our way back to motion. Let’s embrace the journey together!
